About Cory
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in psychodynamic therapy for adults and couples. My work focuses on helping people understand the deeper emotional and relational patterns that shape their lives.
I work especially well with individuals who carry a lot internally—people who present as composed or responsible, but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected inside. Many of my clients rely heavily on thinking, hold themselves to high standards, and struggle to express or even identify what they’re feeling.
My role is to offer a steady, thoughtful space where you can explore these experiences honestly and without pressure.
My Approach
Psychodynamic therapy looks closely at:
the emotional patterns you repeat
the roles and expectations you carry
the ways you learned to cope
the internal conflicts that shape your relationships
the feelings that are harder to express or name
Together, we slow down, observe what’s happening beneath the surface, and understand how your past and present experiences intersect. Therapy becomes a place where you can make sense of your internal world and relate to yourself with more honesty, clarity, and compassion.
I work collaboratively, asking thoughtful questions and paying attention to emotional and relational themes. I’m engaged and present—not a passive nodding therapist, and not a “quick-fix” coach. I help you understand yourself more deeply so that change feels natural and lasting.
